Working on the Web Design assignment taught me valuable skills in creating visually appealing and user-friendly websites. I applied design principles such as consistency, ensuring that each page had a uniform color scheme and font style to create a cohesive look. I also used the principle of visual hierarchy by making headings bold and larger to draw attention, while keeping body text smaller for readability. I really enjoyed the creative freedom this project offered, allowing me to experiment with layouts and color palettes, but I found inputting certain elements to be challenging at times. These website design skills will be incredibly useful in my future career, as I can apply them to create professional portfolios, educational resources, or even wellness blogs that promote health and exercise. Hi Cassie! I loved your website. In terms of CRAP, I thought everything worked very well. The alignment was organized and the proximity wasn't messy at all. One note on the contrast. Everything was great but I personally thought on the main page, it was a little hard to read "Welcome to Ms.Hiatt's 9th Grade Biology Class" against the background. It just kind of blends too much together in my opinion. Great job on this assignment!
ReplyDeleteYour site looks awesome! I really like how the bold headers and colors stand out. The whole thing feels super put-together because you kept the same style throughout, which shows good repetition. Everything lines up nicely, so it's easy on the eyes, and the way you group related stuff makes it really simple to find things. You did great!
